About EtsyKids

The EtsyKids Team is a diverse group of talented and dedicated Etsy shop owners making items for babies, toddlers, and children.  Although we come from different backgrounds and all corners of the world , we are held together by the fact that our members all love to create things for children. In our members' shops, you will find a wide variety of items ranging from clothing to toys to furniture to art and everything in between, in every style imaginable.  

Our Story

In September of 2006, Shannon Hanley had been selling her felted baby shoes on Etsy for a few months, and noticed that there were a lot of wonderful shops with of all kinds of unique items for babies & kids popping up.  She thought it would be great to form a group for all of the shop owners to share their knowledge and pool their resources to help get the word out about all of these great items on Etsy.

So she posted the idea in the Etsy Forums, and the EtsyKids Team was born.  The team quickly grew and now spans the globe with members in nearly every US State, and 10 different countries!  Shannon never dreamed that what started out as a simple post in the Etsy Forums and a handful of members would turn into what it has today.

The EtsyKids Team is constantly growing and evolving, and they wouldn't be where they are today without the hard work and dedication of their team members.

About the Shopping Guide
